Yes. We built Eventguide because Cologne has thousands of events, but nobody wants to check five platforms, eight newsletters, and seventeen Instagram accounts. We want to make the whole city visible: the big names, the small stages, and the event you'll definitely hear about on Monday with "wait, you weren't there?"

Tell us when you're free and roughly what you're in the mood for. We handle the rest. We can't read minds yet (planned for Q4). Until then, there are four ways to search: a classic search box with calendar and filters, our AI search, our neatly sorted categories, and our map view.

No. Discovering, browsing and making plans is free. What you spend at the event on tickets, drinks or a spontaneous ceramic bowl is, unfortunately, outside our control.

Just to browse? No. For features like favourites, personal recommendations or saved events, an account helps. Plus you won't have to start from scratch every time.

We use it to show you better-matched events. And nothing else. We want to know whether you like concerts, comedy or flea markets — not what your first teacher was called, or why you've suddenly been going to a lot of techno events. More on that in our privacy policy — with considerably fewer jokes.

From organisers, venues, partners and various public sources. In short: we gather the stuff so you don't have to.

Because googling "Cologne events weekend", opening twelve tabs, and staying on the sofa anyway shouldn't count as a hobby. The AI helps you filter the exact events that fit your evening out of a very large pile. More AI, less screen time, more time with actual people.

Three possibilities: we haven't found it yet. It hasn't been submitted yet. Or it's an extremely exclusive event that, apparently, neither you nor we were invited to. If you think an event is missing: send it our way.

Very gladly. Send us the key details and we'll take a look. Bonus points for date, location and a link. "There's a thing at Chris's place on Saturday" makes the research unnecessarily exciting.

We try hard. Really. But events are living creatures: times change, venues switch, and sometimes an organiser decides on Friday night that Saturday isn't happening after all. For anything important, we recommend a quick check of the organiser's own page.

Unfortunately not — we're just your search engine, and we send you on to the right ticket provider or organiser.

Our algorithm is trying to understand your taste. Sometimes it nails it. Sometimes it apparently thinks you're desperate for medieval sword fighting. Give it some time. Or give the sword fighting a chance.

Let us know. Wrong time, broken link, or an event that doesn't actually exist — we're happy to hear about it. Typos a little less so, but we'll take those too.
