Eventguide is free for our users, and it stays that way. Not as a marketing promise, but because we believe everyone should have access to what's happening in their city — no matter whether they can afford it, or whether an event is big enough to get noticed by an algorithm.

Big, commercial events already get plenty of attention. Small clubs, volunteer-run initiatives and non-profit offerings, on the other hand, tend to get lost in the flood of information. Not because they matter less, but because they lack the reach. That's why we give the small just as much space as the big.

Cologne has over a million people, and yet a big city can sometimes feel lonelier than a village. We want the opposite: bringing people back from their phones into real life, to real encounters, real evenings, real friendships.

And we know trust only comes from staying fair. That's why we don't collect other sites' data and don't take traffic away from them. Eventguide works like a search engine — we help you find the right event, but for tickets, sign-ups and further information we always link straight to the source: the organiser, the club, the venue.
